As part of the level of importance we place on preventive dental care in this practice, all of our patients have an individual hygiene program specific to their treatment needs. Our specially trained Dental Hygienist, along with the Dentist, will evaluate your overall oral health status and then provide individual oral hygiene care depending on your needs.

Hygiene Therapy involves:

• Visual mouth examination, including oral disease screening
• Full periodontal/gum disease assessment including tooth mobility, gum pocketing and recession charting
• Scale & prophylaxis
• Oral Hygiene Instruction and product assessment
• Tooth remineralisation/strengthening therapy

We encourage you to attend your routine maintenance appointments.  Having regular dental check ups and hygiene visits helps to ensure that you maintain a healthy mouth and will maximize the life-span of any dental treatment.
